It's the 2nd week of april and i'm only days away from my final exams of my 2nd term, 2nd year in smu. Every year its the same routine, i promise myself i'll start mugging early and do well and ace the papers. But everytime i sit down and hit the books i cant seem to focus. After 5mins of reading i will end up doing something else. But this usually happens only to certain subjects, for those mods that i really enjoy i can really sit down and study. So i really hope next term when i have no more core compulsory mods to take, i willl really really choose wisely the mods that i actually might enjoy doing.
Hmmm, sitting alone downstairs in the large dining room with my books and papers spread across the table like an overpiled office desk, I cant help but wonder, mom are u here with me in this room? U always knew that i hated studying but u always had a way of encouraging me and getting me to work. In the past b4 every exam, before i left the house, u'd always be there outside my room waiting to give me a hug and to wish me good luck. Even when u were ill, it never stopped you. At times i used to dread it as i found it routine and sometimes i was rushing for time and didnt want to waste precious minutes hearing what i alr knew u were going to say. But now, it's been 2 long years since you last wished me goodluck for my exams. Nowadays during exam periods, everytime i walk out my room ready to head for school, i can't help noticing the empty red sofa (where u used to sit to wait for me)as i make my way downstairs. I hate myself for not cherishing the times in the past when i still had the chance to hear u wish me those precious 'good lucks', cos right now im really missing the sound of those words, of the comfort and encouragement i received whenever i saw u b4 leaving for my exams. Cos i knew there'd always be someone there who believes in me, and praying for me throughout my papers. And knowing that gave me comfort and security. I know im prob not doing a great job of revising right now and i am ashamed of myself. So i hope that as i continue to sit in the dining room and to continue my revision, i hope you'll be there sitting next to me and reminding me that im studying not only for myself, but also for you cos u always believed i could do anything as long as i set my mind to it. I know im easily distracted so i hope you''ll help me stay focused tonight mom. Love u and miss u<3

Been bloody loong sinc i last blogged. Hadnt had the patience to sit down and type stuff since school started. Life's pretty busy especially with all the projects and reports due soon. PLus not to mention the dreadful finals that are a month away, and i still havent started revising yet!
Well apart from drowning in school, lots of things have happened. My sis got married to a certain Mr J:) The wedding was at Sentosa, Capella hotel, and it was really a nice dinner and the setting was heavenly. Had alot of fun making things diffficult for the groom and his groomsmen in the morning, let's just say it involved shots with bitter gourd and chilli padi and also dressing up as the spice girls;) Ohhh, there was one sad sad day in sept. I failed my driving test, stoopid tester said i drove too slow!! C'mon that's called being cautious, if i'd known better, i would have been speeding thruout man! So no nice convertible in the near near future for me yet, sobs. Haha i wish! Maybe when i do pass, i can persuade my dad to get me a PINK car regardless of brand and model:) There was one other major thing that happened in the past months and it caused me to lose focus during my midterms, but shant talk about it, besides that problem has been solved.
So now i am just enjoying each min as it is b4 exam period comes closer. My doggie's sleeping in my room, i just played monkey island and had nice dinner at Aston's with my MS mateys after class earlier on. Just to add, i started a twitter account cos my brain was dying from doing MS homework, the things i do to stall myself from studying!
Well gonna skype gowri now, hope she smiles for candid webcam!:)
PS: My bday is coming soon but i dunno what to do, i screwed up my midterm for a mod and so i really gotta ace the finals. So gotta study lots and i feel like i've no time to set up a bday celebration. Though that's prob just an excuse for my laziness. If i dun have a bday dinner or lunch, i shall have a small xmas gathering for my friends. PLan to bring da party to my house, better fix my Wii and buy the latest raving rabbits game!:)
WOOHOO!!! What a brilliant come back from man utd ! This morning they played against tottenham and were down 2-0 in the first half. In the first 15mins of the 2nd half the score was still the same and things looked bleak, it looked like man utd was in for a disappointing night.
However, things started to change when man u were awarded a penalty following Spur's keeper(GOMEZ) taking down Man Utd's Carrick in the box. Calm and cool ronaldo took a deep breath before taking the spotkick, sending the ball straight down the middle of the net pass the flying goalkeeper for man u's first goal of the match:)
From then on man utd were like a team on fire! Ronaldo and Rooney were like rockets terrorizing the spurs defenders. They formed a great partnership on the field and displayed perfect timed passses and amazing set-ups btw each other, resulting in both players scoring two goals each for the entire match. The last and fifth goal came from ex-spurs player Berbatov, which was icing on the cake:)
Another metionable player for me was Tevez who ran like crazy after every ball, lol:)

Woah last night was the latest i'd ever stayed out for. I went clubbin(actually kinda chilling) with steph and her gym friend Rufford and his friend Jack. Spent most of the time sitting, drinking n chattin. Only started hitting the dance floor towards the end. We went to an old ppl's bar - Bellini, haha. Though the crowd was much older than the 4 of us there, the entertainers on stage were way hot, sexy and cute:) So sad one hot entertainer was gay:( so wasted for all the females out there, hehe.
It was fun getting to know stephy's friends, her friend Rufford's a bit like her - nonsensical crazy. Lol. Always talking crazy stuff. Jack was less crazy haha, which is good cos the world doesn't need that many crazy ppl, it'll be too crazy! :P
We stayed till the club closed and then we walked over to Macs next door. I was abit light headed but stephy was more light headed, she got a little huggy on me n went on ranting abt her troubles - blabbity blabbity blah, which was funny:) Steph was sober, just more bubbly crazy lol. Later she even said i still must send xian home(awww so sweet:P)
I gave my dad a heart attack cos i didn t answer his calls. Got 12 missed calls. Turns out my dad knew the club had closed and when i didnt call him and also pick up his calls he thought i got kidnapped or something. Sorry dad! Called him immediately and promised him i'd been home in an hour by 5am. Lucky i had no appointments the next day so i could sleep in:)
I had fun last night, i guess i prefer the places in clarke quay like arena, rebel and bellini compared to zouk. Zouk's so crazy crowded i can hardly move n breathe and hear a thing ppl shout into my ears!!! Other than that its ok, haha:)

Woah i can't believe exams are officially over and now i have like 3 months holiday!!!:) BGS was my last paper, wat a good way to end the exams since we were given the questions b4 hand(MCQs somemore) so we could compare ans first.
After the paper, i went home to nap since i only slept 4 hours last night. Then i went to meet gowri and the guys for lunch since gowri was flying off today. Too bad vic flew off one day earlier or she could have joined us too. Was surprised to see steph there cos she still had one paper left. Seeing that she was as high/bubbly as ever i guess the lunch break was quite a treat from all the mugging. We ate at wheellock's Sun with Moon restaurant. The food's not bad. After lunch, Jiayi and steph left while me and gowri went off to watch a movie. Coincidentally the guys were going for a movie too so we ended up going together and caught the movie Fast and Furious 4. My gosh it was damn good action fun! After the movie the guys went their separate ways while gowri went over to my place. We ended up having some good ol gal talk and gossiping fun, its been so long so we last chatted, really enjoyed our bonding today:) OOOh, gowri got me hooked on korean dramas again, she downloaded a clip of Boys over Flower for me and i couldnt stop watching.Gowri its all ur fault that im hooked!!! But i got to say, of all the versions of meteor garden( taiwan, jap, kor) this korean version is by far the best. I actually enjoyed watching it without thinking it was all brainless cheesy romance.
After 6pm gowri left cos she had dinner b4 flying off. I had a boring dinner at home, then i watched american idol. OMG today Adam and Allison were so hot in their vocals and performance. They made me wanna go karaoke singing then and there!
At night, i had a horror while playing the sims 2. Saw a bug on my bed. I squashed it and threw it away, then cont playing my game. 5min later another bug walked past me, i was like wth?! Then i killed it and threw it away. To my horror i saw more bugs on the wall and corners of my room! I was having a bug infestation!!!! Then i ran to my sis's room and she had some bugs on her walls too. We were freaked out man, we called the pest control to come take a look tomorrow. Right now i have no where to sleep since im scared to us my bed now. If a creepy crawly comes walking over me i'll scream! I guess the man utd match at 2.45 is something i can look forward to this morning since im awake with no bed to sleep on:)

Happy Birthday Viresh and Gowri!!! Haha u guys are one of the first few of us to turn 20, no longer a teen!!! Now that we're stepping into a new phase of our lives, i'm sure gonna miss all the good ol dayz. I still remember the times you taught me how to be as 'nonsensical crazy' as you viresh. You taught me how to leave school early by giving crap excuses to the security guard, how to lie n scare Mr Goh that someone was gonna sue him for parking illegally on the road, and how you victimized the poor ladybug i gave u by turning it into a vibrator!!! I bet the ladybug has alr been exhausted to death by you, tsk tsk. And Gowri I remember all the fun times we had in and out of school. All the crazy picture takings when we went out, and our love of hongkong dramas!!! But i bet now that there are so many hot aussie hunks in australia, you've forgotten about the hongkong hotties already, haha:) Well even though we're leaving our teen hood behind, We're gonna party all thru our twenties together that's for sure:)
Oh and one more thing, finals is a couple of days away and i still have like the whole syllabus left to study! I feel so stressed, like there's a huge weight on my shoulders. Anyway i came across a miley cyrus song that i feel is appropriate in addressing how i feel right now. Even though i am not a Miley Fan, i can't help but like this song:)

Man revision studying is sooo not my thing, i don't know why but i just cant seem to sit down and study! Just 3more days till finals and im still just starting on my revision, someone help me pls!!!
Oh and Today is good friday, so im fasting(im so bad at this, im alr craving for food at 2pm). Really respect my mom, all she had was bland food for so many months and she hardly complained. Im such a dweeb, not even one day and im crumbling! Yesterday, i went church visiting with my Godma(maundy thurs), it was real fun. Havent hung out with her in such a loooong time, she's still as crazy and cool as ever, haha:)
Anyway met vic, gowri and steph for a shortwhile at ooomphatico since gowri and vic are just visiting over the week. Great to see them all, vic's really enjoying cebu, maybe i can go visit her during the hols. Steph my fellow catholic brudda is as crazy n bubbly as ever, i asked her what day today is and what did she do. She replied: Today's good friday and i didn't go to church, wheee! Lol.
I can't wait for exams to end!!! I wanna go watch movie and shop!!! Havent seen pr, yy and minx since valentine's day, that's real lonnng! And i just found out minx's baby nephew has facebk!! Must be all minx's doing, haha. I feel like im missing out in alot of things cos they're all in the same school and get to meet each other often, while im not:( Man must plan a reunion soon after my exams and hang out the whooooole day. A short vacation trip to somewhere nearby sounds like a great plan too, hehe:)
